The PC version of The Last of Us Part I features numerous platform-specific optimizations, aimed at enhancing the gaming experience. These include support for AMD FSR 2.2, Nvidia DLSS Super Resolution, VSync, frame rate cap options, adjustable texture quality, shadows, reflections, and ambient occlusion. Additionally, players can enjoy ultra-wide monitor support for both 21:9 Ultrawide and 32:9 Super Ultrawide aspect ratios, as well as 3D audio support.

The game supports various input methods, such as the DualSense controller, which provides players with haptic feedback and dynamic triggers when connected via a wired connection.
