This license allows you to activate the software on 3 different devices, such as a home PC, notebook and work computer.

For users who need a reliable suite of Office applications at home or in the office, Microsoft Office 2024 Home & Business is an excellent choice. It includes the core programs: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access. Publisher is no longer included, as it will be discontinued in 2026. OneNote is available as a download via the Microsoft Store, allowing you to quickly take notes and sync them across all your devices via the cloud. Thanks to its wide range of applications, this edition is ideal for both home offices and professional work environments where efficiency and organization are key.

System requirements

• Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) faster with 2 or more cores on a compatible 64-bit processor or System on a Chip (SoC).
• RAM: 4 gigabytes (GB).
• Storage: 64 GB or larger storage device. Note: see “More information about storage space to keep Windows 11 up-to-date” below for more details.
• System firmware: UEFI, suitable for Secure Boot.
• TPM: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0.
• Graphics card: Compatible with DirectX 12 or higher with WDDM 2.0 driver.
• Display: High-definition (720p) display with a diagonal of more than 9 inches, 8 bits per color channel.
• Internet connection and Microsoft account: Windows 11 requires an internet connection and a Microsoft account to complete device setup on first use. Switching a device out of Windows 11 Home in S mode also requires an internet connection. All Windows 11 editions require internet access to update and to download and use some features. Some features require a Microsoft account.

Over time, there may be additional requirements for updates or to use certain operating system features.

Additional requirements for key features

Some features in Windows 11 require higher system requirements than the minimum requirements listed above. Below is more information about the requirements for key features:

• 5G support requires a 5G-enabled modem.
• Auto HDR requires an HDR monitor.
• BitLocker to Go requires a USB flash drive (available in Windows Pro and higher editions).
• Client Hyper-V requires a processor with Second Level Address Translation (SLAT) capabilities (available in Windows Pro and higher editions).
• Cortana requires a microphone and speaker and is currently available in Windows 11 for Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
• DirectStorage requires an NVMe SSD to store and run games that use the “Standard NVM Express Controller” driver, as well as a DirectX 12 GPU with support for Shader Model 6.0.
• DirectX 12 Ultimate is available with supported games and graphics chips.
• Presence requires a sensor that can detect human distance from the device or intent to interact.
• Intelligent video conferencing requires a video camera, microphone and speaker (audio output).
• Multiple Voice Assistant (MVA) requires a microphone and speaker.
• Snap layouts with three columns require a screen with an effective width of 1920 pixels or more.
• Mute/unmute from the taskbar requires a video camera, microphone, and speaker (audio output). The app must be compatible with the global mute/unmute feature.
• Spatial Sound requires supporting hardware and software.
• Teams requires a video camera, microphone and speaker (audio output).
• Touch requires a screen or monitor that supports multi-touch.
• Two-factor authentication requires use of a PIN, biometrics (fingerprint reader or illuminated infrared camera) or a phone with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth capabilities.
• Voice Typing requires a PC with a microphone.
• Wake on Voice requires a Modern Standby power model and a microphone.
• Wi-Fi 6E requires new WLAN IHV hardware and drivers, plus a Wi-Fi 6E-capable AP/router.
• Windows Hello requires a camera configured for near infrared (IR) imaging or a fingerprint reader for biometric authentication. Devices without biometric sensors can use Windows Hello with a PIN or a Microsoft-compatible portable security key.
• Windows Projection requires a display adapter that supports Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) 2.0 and a Wi-Fi adapter that supports Wi-Fi Direct.
